City Learning Centres
City Learning Centres are open to school students, teachers and the community in the London Borough of Hackney. As part of the Government's Excellence in Cities (EiC) programme, the CLCs have the latest computers, digital video, sound recording, editing facilities and video conferencing.
We offer innovative teaching and learning materials to secondary school students and teachers and will also play a key role in the community.
Highwire
| Hackney's Highwire was launched on 18 October 2000 by School Standards Minister, Estelle Morris and was the first CLC in the country to be officially opened by a Minister.
The Centre, currently based in the Portico CLC, offers innovative teaching and learning materials to secondary school students and teachers and will also play a key role in the community.
