Education for Sustainable Development
| The aim of this site is to provide resources to support Hackney schools in developing ‘Out-of-School-Hours’ environmental activities which further the aims of Extended Schools (with reference to "Every Child Matters") and Healthy Schools (with links to physical activity, healthy lifestyles and emontional health and well-being).

An out-of-school-hours (aka. study support) environmental club can improve achievement in all areas of the curriculum (especially science, citizenship and sustainable development) and help pupils to develop personal and social skills.
Funding Sources

Environmental Study Support small grants for 2007-08 – following the success of last year’s programme, Hackney schools are again invited to apply this year for up to £200 to support their environmental study support projects. Click on the links to download the simple action plan.
