2012 Curriculum

The Games are coming to a venue near you!

The 2012 focused curriculum was devised to be used alongside the curriculum that is delivered each day in our schools. There are five modules: Myself, My London, My Olympics, My Olympic friends and My Future. The colours fit with the five Olympic rings.

Each module builds year on year as children develop an understanding of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, themselves and their future.

Time-Lapse Camera

The Learning Trust has been working on a project for Gainsborough school (the nearest school to the Olympic 2012 site) to develop time-lapse camera footage of the construction and development taking place on the site.
There are two cameras mounted on the school building facing the Olympic village which will be taking snapshots over the next 4 years. Each month video footage showing the development of the site will be released. The website also has an interactive map which shows the location of the school in relation to the surrounding Olympic village.
