  • Look at old news reel footage of the 1948 Olympic Games;

Activities

  • Make notes about the visual differences between then and now, taking into account what had happened prior to the 1948 games;
  • Read reports from 1948 and make notes comparing the responses of the public then and now;
  • Research into where the Olympic Sites were in 1948 and look at how London has
    changed since then;
  • Look at range of games in which participants took part and compare with today;
  • Look at biographies/photos of athletes then and now, compare;

  • Information presented in a variety of ways – diagrams, charts, written work, photographs to depict the work that has been researched;
