Year 6 - My London: "Where the Magic Happens!" (Sporting Venues in London)

- Compare sports reports/Listen to sports
commentaries;
- Write own reports of matches/sporting events;

London – the new and the old. How have they changed – looking at access and
equal opportunities etc;
- Interview different age groups in the local
community and ask about their own varying
responses to sport over the years;
- Conduct surveys from different groups regarding
time allocated to watching/participating in different
sports;
- Design/draw a new sporting venue for Hackney –
incorporating the needs of the community;

(films, recordings, Powerpoint,
tables/charts etc);
- A drawing of a new sporting

design fulfills the brief;
