Year 6 - Myself: "Design Me! (Design a logo)

Key Skills

  • I can design a logo that represents me;
  • I can share my opinion constructively;

Activities
  • Children to participate in a range of sporting activities and record their achievements on a “personal bests” card;
  • Children to create personal success statements on Olympic style medals;
  • Children identify their strengths and areas for development in each of the SATs subjects, using the curriculum statements and produce targets for
    themselves for the term (these should be reviewed termly);
  • Children to explore the 2012 and Olympic Games logos. Using their knowledge of well known logos, children design a logo that represents themselves and explain it to their class;
Outcomes
  • A record of sporting achievement;
  • A record showing progression in each sporting achievement;
  • An awareness of how practice leads to improvement;
