Writing tutorials update
Please note the following changes have been made:
- The Year 6 lesson plans now have learning objectives and success criteria. The Year 5 lessons will be updated shortly.
- The marking guidance sheet is a way of assessing each task, focussing specifically on Strands 9, 10 and 11. It replaces the individual marking schemes for each task.
- Links to the Year 4, 5 and 6 literacy Framework have been made to allow teachers and tutors to plan tasks to link in with the curriculum.
- Pupil targets have been updated in line with the framework.
- APP grids can be used by tutors to assess progress at half termly intervals and should be used to inform the class teacher.
- A link to Text types has been included as this may support a tutor’s subject knowledge of the different genres.
