Three related documents help explain the scope and performance of SACRE:
1. Hackney SACRE publishes an annual report which sets out how it has carried out its functions during the preceding academic year.
2. Ofsted has provided a useful checklist of responsibilities with criteria for self-evaluation as ‘developing’, ‘established’ or ‘advanced’ SACRE’s. In working toward ‘advanced’ status, Hackney SACRE regularly evaluates its performance and updates the attached ‘SACREs and Self-evaluation guide’.
3. Hackney SACRE sets out its plan to improve our performance in the Development plan.
SACRE meetings are open and take place at least once a term. Agenda and minutes indicate the what it does and decisions it makes at meetings. The SACRE Chairs Group and working parties meet more frequently for preparatory and follow-up work.
